Instructor Profiles
Mike Williams — Chief Instructor
Mike Williams is a licensed Vocational Instructor and has been using the Peerless Institute materials to help people get their contractor licenses for over 17 years.
He has dedicated his professional life to serving and helping develop people in achieving their goals in life and in business. He has helped people study to gain contractor licenses, helped create construction and engineering companies, had an extensive career in retail management, and worked in the financial services market helping people with retirement, insurance and estate planning.
Aside from his work for The Peerless Institute, Mike is President of the Contractor's License Network, which he founded in 1991. He also founded Genesis Development and Design to assist single motheres with finding, building and adding value to their homes, and he is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity where he helps build homes for the disadvantaged in his community.
A graduate of Compton College, Cal State University, Dominguez Hills and the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Mike is married with five children, four grandchildren, and lives in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Anthony Sykes — Instructor
Anthony Sykes has been working in the accounting and tax field for over 30 years.
Anthony has worked for the Internal Revenue Service as well as Wickes, Johnson & Johnson, and Commerce Clearing House in a variety of capacities related to accounting, taxes and management. In 1988 Anthony founded his own business that specializes in helping small businesses from start up to growth. Specifically his company helps contractors through the maze of business by coaching them and helping them to succeed. In addition to working with Peerless Institute, Anthony offers seminars for small business with the Employment Development Department of California.
Anthony has an undergraduate degree in finance with a minor in taxes from Metropolitan State College, and a financial planning certificate from UCLA.
